Tell us about your field
Nestled on the hillsides of Montreal du Gers, our Estate dominates a vineyard cultivated with passion by our family – the Négri family – for many generations, in the very heart of the Armagnac region.
Initially dedicated to diversified agriculture and the production of Armagnac, the estate is now devoted exclusively to viticulture over 80 hectares. We dedicate these lands to the production of Côtes de Gascogne wines, Floc de Gascogne as well as vintage Armagnacs, so emblematic of our traditions and our terroir.
In addition, our family estate has the particularity of being passed down from father to daughter!
Indeed, Michel at the head of the estate, perpetuates the legacy of three generations by adopting an approach focused on quality. This approach results in the choice of a traditional grape variety, reasoned management of the vines and a continuous modernization of winemaking techniques and equipment.
In 2008, it was Sonia, our daughter, who joined Michel to enrich the estate with a rich and diversified collection of Côtes de Gascogne wines, as well as Floc de Gascogne and vintage Armagnacs, available for direct sale for amateurs and the curious.
What sets your white Floc apart?
White Floc is made with grape juices from Colombard, Gros manseng and white Ugni.
What sets your Red Floc apart?
Floc red (or rosé) is made with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape juice.
Where can you find your Floc?
Our Floc de Gascogne is on sale at our Estate, on our website, at the Wine and Gastronomy Fairs in which we participate in Brittany: Morlaix, Lorient, Quimper and Perros Guirec, but also on the summer markets in Fleurance, Lectoure, Condom , Nérac.
Do you organize visits to the estate?
We warmly invite you to visit the Domaine throughout the year, where you will be welcomed in a family and authentic atmosphere. For better organization, we advise you to call us before your arrival and make an appointment.
What are your projects, your current affairs?
We participate in many events, trade fairs and traditional markets in the Gers in summer: do not hesitate to contact us to be kept informed, or to follow our Domaine de Rome Facebook page .
Also, during your visit to the Gers, you can stay in our gîte located in the countryside, 3 km from Montreal of the Gers, and close to the emblematic places of visit of the Gers and its summer festivities.
